In late March, the first pilot test platform for shale oil development in Dagang Oilfield, Cangdong Depression No. 5 Platform, was officially put into production. The daily production capacity of 9 shale oil wells remained stable at around 280 tons, forming an annual production capacity of 100000 tons, marking the completion and operation of China's first 100000 ton level terrestrial shale oil development demonstration platform in Dagang Oilfield.
Relying on the continuous 500 meter shale core analysis and joint testing of Well Guan 108-8, Dagang Oilfield has gone through years of basic research and tackling key technical problems such as optimizing and evaluating shale oil enrichment layers in fault basins, fracturing and increasing production, and has achieved original breakthroughs in shale oil enrichment theory and evaluation technology.
Dagang Oilfield has innovatively established an organizational management model of "platform leader responsibility, market-oriented operation, and digital intelligent control", explored the implementation of a three-step lean production method of "soaking well replacement+high-pressure drilling plug+pressure control production", and formed key technologies for pre CO2 energy enhancement, transformation, and production improvement. While effectively supporting the significant increase in the production of pilot test wells, it has achieved a carbon sequestration of 13000 tons, Explore a technological innovation path for the development of shale oil with negative carbon benefits. The five new wells deployed on platform 5 of Cangdong Depression have produced a cumulative oil production of 12000 tons in three months of trial production. It is predicted that the oil production of a single well can exceed 10000 tons in the first year of production, and the cumulative oil production (EUR) after 15 years of production can reach 41000 tons, providing a "big port model" for the large-scale and efficient development of continental shale oil in China.
The exploration area of Dagang Oilfield is rich in shale oil resources. Since 2016, Dagang Oilfield has relied on China National Petroleum Corporation's major scientific and technological projects to accelerate the innovation of shale oil enrichment theory and the integration of supporting technologies. In 2018, it achieved a breakthrough in horizontal well development of shale oil in the Kong2 section of the Cangdong Depression, and took the lead in achieving industrial development of continental shale oil in the Bohai Bay Basin. In 2019, it was selected as one of China's top ten major oil and gas exploration discoveries, and subsequently achieved success in the first and third sections of the Shahejie Formation in the Qikou Depression, We have achieved a comprehensive breakthrough in the three main shale oil layers in the Huanghua Depression and opened up a new field for major resource replacement in the old Bohai Bay oilfield.
